Joy of Farming
Gung-ho to eco-friendly farming
We are on mission to protect land and keep toxic chemicals off our farm.
We believe“When you farm with nature not against it, farm will follow.”

In 2012, we started to farm disused terrace.

In 2014, we stared to have Agri Renaissance event.

In 2017, we started to cultivate rice field.

In 2018, we started to breed fireflies (Aquatica ficta).

In 2019, we started to farm black soldier fly to eliminate food waste and feed poultry.

In 2020, we started to promote ugly-produce movement and further move toward “zero-waste”.
Eco-friendly Farming：Eco-friendly Rice
Started from 2018, we worked with local farmer and adopted environment-friendly practices in paddy planting. At the same time, we successfully breed fireflies (Aquatica ficta). Rice is grown with sustainable farming methods without harmful pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. Eco-friendly grown rice not only tastes better but also is healthier for you.
Circulatory Agriculture：Free range chicken, Black soldier fly
In the farm, we have plenty types of vegetables. Tourist can understand and enjoy farming life and have traditional style meal in the restaurant. We started to farm black soldier fly, which can eat scrap food to eliminate food waste. When they are done eating food waste, they will harvest themselves into bucket. Then we feed them to our poultry. We expect to operate a circulatory agriculture system and reach “zero-waste”goal.
